Road-Trip | Mount San Jacinto + Idyllwild Nature Center
For one of my dearest friend's birthday, we packed our bags and cameras and drove to Palm Springs to take the Palm Spring Aerial Tramway up to Mount Jacinto State Park. We journeyed over the cliffs of Chino Canyon in the rotating tram car and hiked 8 miles round-trip to Wellmans Divide. There was snow covering the paths, fun boulders to climb, and miles and miles of incredible views. Afterwards we drove to Idyllwild and stayed at a cozy little AirBnB near their town center. It was unbelievable how pretty the drive was and I was amazed that it was only two hours away from home! We spent the remainder of the weekend reading, writing, taking photos, and exploring Idyllwild Nature Center. We finished the trip by taking the 243N back to the 10W, which was one of the most enjoyable drives! We had to stop several times along the road to soak in the view. I can't wait to go back someday!
